Kennedy Whitfield Foundation

The stillborn death of Kimberly's second daughter, Kennedy, inspired her to create the Kennedy Whitfield Foundation.  The foundation was established to help women cope with the death of a child through health and wellness.  It is Kimberly's desire that women who have suffered from such loss will find hope and realize that "heartache and pain, can allow the opportunity to grow and change."

She came so gently into our hearts
This tiny, little angel.
So softly, like the flutter of a butterflies
Wings, she oh, so gently came.

A journey not blessed with spans of
Time, but minutes so filled with joy--
She skipped, and danced in her
Soft world—a world so safe and
warm…

“I cannot stay here much too long,
There is so much to do.
My Father, up in heaven wants me
To come up there too.

And so I’ll don my angel wings
and take my flight to Him---
Lay tears aside, oh loved ones, for I
am heaven bound.
